WWE will be holding this year’s SummerSlam pay-per-view at the Performance Center despite their best efforts to stage the event as planned. Due to the recent surge of COVID-19 cases, WWE have now switched gears and are hopeful of a return to live events in September instead, according to WrestleVotes.

WWE had been looking into the possibility of holding shows at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland, Florida.
