The return of Bray Wyatt has been one of the more highly anticipated returns as fans have been treated to vignettes and installments of his Firefly Fun House over the last few months. However, in the last few weeks we haven’t seen Bray appear in any of these popular segments, but we have instead seen some of the characters featured make cameos backstage during segments with other WWE Superstars.

It had been rumored for weeks that Bray’s return was imminent, and it he has even been reportedly backstage for many live events over the last month or so. But we have yet to see Bray make his official return, and it looks like we might not see it until possibly SummerSlam.

According to a report from WrestleVotes, the original plan for Bray Wyatt’s return wasn’t scheduled to take place until SummerSlam. However, this was prior to Bischoff, and Heyman taking over as Executive Directors of Raw and SmackDown, thus plans could always change.

“Getting a ton of questions re: Bray Wyatt. I know this – prior to Bischoff & Heyman taking over, the plan was for him to redebut & wrestle AT SummerSlam. I can’t confirm if any of that has changed. I’m confident he’ll be at SummerSlam. Whether that’s his first appearance is TBD.”
