The deadline for AEW signed talent to stop working outside the promotion is fast approaching. Rumor has it that September 1st is the cut off date, leaving only the Summer for some dream matches to happen.

Luckily wrestling’s hottest star Jon Moxley has announced that he will be competing in New Japan Pro Wrestling’s G1 Climax tournament. The G1 is a round robin style tournament featuring all of NJPW’s most prominent heavyweights. That means that Moxley will be able to have at least one match with half of the heavyweight roster in New Japan.

The blocks for the tournament have yet to be set, but one wrestler who is wishing to be in Moxley’s block is wrestling’s murder grandpa Minoru Suzuki. Minoru sent out a tweet aimed at Chris Jericho, calling Mox out.

Minoru isn’t lying when he says “the world is waiting”. Suzuki is known for doling out the most punishment and Moxley is known to be willing to take all the punishment the world has to offer. This would truly be a hard hitting affair and is a dream match for some. Hopefully they wind up in the same block for G1.
