Exclusive: AEW Opts To Keep Production In Jacksonville Indefinitely

January 15, 2021

We previously reported that AEW had been planning on taking production of Dynamite and Dark, as well as the upcoming Revolution PPV on the road to Miami for the month of February, but that plan has changed as the company has opted to remain in Jacksonville and Daily’s Place indefinitely.

Earlier today AEW announced that the Dynamite which had been scheduled to take place in Newark, NJ on February 24th had been rescheduled for September 15th, 2021. This seems to fall in line with what I was told earlier today when I reached out to my sources within the company for a follow up on our initial report.

I was told that employees received an email this morning informing them that they will be remaining in Jacksonville for the “indefinite future”. This seemingly eliminates any potential move to Miami for the upcoming Beach Break special episode of Dynamite, and any other events that AEW had previously been working on moving to South Beach.
